I am here because my dad Herbert Stivers age 81, was a US army Honor Guard at The Nuremberg War Crimes Trials as well as a guard in side the prison. Just "Google" his name in "Herbert Stivers" and all the articals will come up. His story is true and he broke his silence after 60 years. He was on the front page of the L.A. Times and Anderson Cooper told his story on CNN in 2005. The story was in every major newspaper in the world. He just had to get this off his chest because you never now how long you have at age 81. Although he is in good health and has a very shape memory he wants as many people who will listen to know the truth. And finally this long lost piece to an international puzzle has been solved. I am his daughter and I love my dad very much. I am so proud of all you US soldiers who put your lives on the line so long ago for this country. You are all deeply appreciated more than you will ever know.
