When replying, you can do it one of two ways
1. Click on Post Reply and you will see smilies to the right. Click on More for...more smilies. Double click on the smilie you want to you use. Make sure your cursor is in the spot on the message where you want it be before clicking on the smilie.
2. If typing the Quick Reply box at the bottom, select Go Advanced and it works like above.
If you have already typed in a message and wish to edit it, click Edit at the bottom of the message, then select Go Advanced.
