) I would make a movie about The Somme. It would be very dramatic I think. All fresh troops off into a very deadly battle. Power of the machine gun.
But I would remake Battle of the Bulge most definitely! And Midway.
I would probably make a more battle like movie about the battle for Berlin (there is Downfall, but that was more Hitler related and the secretary until like the last 20 minutes of it), and also the siege of Leningrad. In fact, if you could fit a dramatic tale of a average Russian soldier in ww2 in a 2-3 hour film from the start of Barbarossa until ??? it would be great.
