I just wanted to say how very grateful I am for your offer of taking an upto date photo of my ganddad's grave for me. I shall really appreciate that. I actually don't have a photo so that would be fantastic.

I have recently contacted the Scottish Regiments, Museum in Liverpool, to ask them if they could find a photo of my granddad's Regiment with him on it for me, and they said that they will look to see if they can find one.
Please cross your fingers for me, as I would love to have a photo of him.


I am learning quite a bit from this forum and I am able to talk about the War with my hubby, with a little (I say a little) bit of knowledge. I am also finding it interesting looking at the History channel too, and most things pertaining to the war. Never thought I'd hear myself saying that.

Will let you know how things go.
