I have somewhere in my collection an actual handbook for the Defence of Australia by the Homeguard. It includes tactics to be imployed against infantry and tanks, as well as the proper placement of defences such as antitanks, trenchs, barbed wire, mines and support weapons. As well as telling distances with your hand, stealth and the proper way of escorting a prisoner both with 1 and 2 guards. It is quite interesting.
