Hi John, thanks for the picture of your SS ID-nice one. Im glad it's not one of those ground dug items-those I can't stand to see since they almost always taken from the soldiers final resting place.

PS, I only have two tags in my collection-both are Kriegsmarine. There were pics of them here some time ago and I can't show them again-unless I do it the old fashioned way-by snailnail to someone who can post them. Mine are two sizes one made of Aluminum and the other is Brass. The aluminum one is the larger size-like yours and was to a man who served at some Kriegsmarine facility in Wilhelmshaven and the other actually has the Sailors name on it which is: Hermann Rummelsberger.
