65 years ago tonight..........

Today's BBC News carried some beautiful footage of the BBMF Lancaster overflying the Derwent Dam in Derbyshire earlier today, watched by the last surviving pilot from the Raid, New Zealander Les Munro.

This evening, think of Guy Gibson saying 'Well chaps, my watch says it's time to go...' and spare a thought for those who were never to come back.
