Hi Lt Pineapple,
Google is always your best friend in searching for such info. Try Atlanic Wall obstalcles. Here are some I found .
The Germans had to plan for both a high tide and low tide assault so there were obstacles designed for either case.
This link describes typical concrete barriers used by the Germans for coastal defense
Lone Sentry: Types of Concrete Antitank Obstacles (WWII U.S. Intelligence Bulletin, September 1943)
Here's a photo of several types of obstacles used along the Atlantic Wall
Here is a lengthy link to a Google Book review with Atlantic Wall Defenses:
The Atlantic Wall (1): France - Google Book Search
Here's a summary of the lack of depth in defense of the Atlantic wall:
"Although Rommel oversaw additional defensive measures, such as the placement of
hedgehogs,
wooden ramps and
"Rommel's Asparagus", and to the flooding of areas in which suspected airborne landings might take place, the Atlantic Wall had no true depth to its defenses. An enemy force that breached the thin Atlantic Wall would face no further fortified positions of significance."
