That is not even remotely true.

Hitler did not control the "Wehrmacht" in the "late twenties".

The two American-trained and equipped Chinese divisions, the 22nd. and 38th., which comprised the Chinese Army in India (CAI) performed quite credibly against fierce Japanese resistance in northern Burma in 1944-45. These divisions were led by Chinese officers; the 38th. by Gen. Sun, a graduate of VMI, and the 38th. by Lt. Gen. Liao Yao-hsiang, a graduate of St. Cyr in France. General Joseph Stilwell commanded the CAI and demanded that the Chinese officers in his command perform to the same standards as US Army officers. Stilwell, who understood the Chinese culture, asserted that Chinese troops, properly led and cared for, were the equal of any troops in any Army. The performance of these two divisions supports that concept.
