Hello to everyone on the forum! My name is James Diehl and I guess I'm the newest member of this wonderful forum I just stumbled across. I have an avid interest in World War II and actually have a book being released next week on Veteran's Day called "World War II Heroes of Southern Delaware."

It is the culmination of two years of interviews, research, fact checking, editing, writing, rewriting...well, you get the idea.

If I write for the rest of my life - and I hope to do just that - I'll likely never produce anything I'm more proud of than this book. It's very humbling to sit down and talk with 50 veterans of the war and hear their first-hand accounts from some of history's greatest battlefields.
