must say I have much more in the way of photo documentation on my Father in law serving in the USN in the pacific on two ships, one a tin-can. In fact we presented , we meaning my wife, her two bro's a memorial of pics and his text in words to my mother in law during the war with old letters things he had not seen for over 40 plus years. Sandy as I mentioned how powerful this will be for you, your family and your Grandfather when he first sees this. my own Father -in-law when first looking at the book was into it for over 4 hours sitting and the memories of those difficult times just flowed like hot maple syrup over pancakes, we were all beaming and he had a small tear forming from his left eye-lid............ funny what you are able to pick up and lodge in your brain - those little almost non necessary moments
