Correct, I have it as a T-38, built in floating capability allows you to do things a more normal design cannot, having armour support immedately after an extemporised river crossing or airlanding can be a big tactical advantage. The soviets insisted in anphbious capability with the post war PT-76 light tank so they obviously thought it worthwile. Wouldn't try to use either as an MBT though.
