Bingo Erich. Good thing there weren't more of these, thye were very dangerous for convoys in the channel and elswhere.

Skipper I've always wondered too if they have retrieved ALL the planted mines from both sides of the conflict on the coasts of the English mainland, France, Holland even up in the Baltic, there is still so much unknown materials surfacing, or we are finding them.

Back to your question it was good that the Allies bomb blasted there pens in Rotterdam, Imjniden, and the French bases, that really put on a huge squeeze on the small S-boot fleet from which they really never returned except in very small pitilly droves always overwhelmed on the ocean
