Talking Check out this thread

the profile work is gorgeous

the two chaps have worked closely for the Hipper, Scheer, Lützow, Prinz Eugen and a couple of other larger warships of the Kriegsmarine. the thread is graphic intensive so give it a little time to load up. you can then click each profile box and click the second time for a full on large view. Impressive work as I have stated to Antonio

enjoy this and the whole Naval History forum threads

Those are brilliant.
I'm just starting to become intrigued by Naval stuff, so I particularly liked the illustrated timelines of the ship's history too. Really nice idea as a concise and easy way of showing the changes over time in these big beasts.

Cheers,
Adam.

that's what I thought as well from 1940 onward and the evolution of the heavies. more and more Flak added to counter the aerial threat something not really thought of in early war

Yes indeed. Excellent work. Some graphs and photos I have not found. Not an expert on the Kriegsmarine but I have had an interests on the larger ships and have done some searches so am surprised at the photos especially those of 1945.
