Came across the following website recently:
http://www.gothiclinetours.com/
While it obviously advertises tours in the area of the Italian battlefields (the only company to my knowledge actaully offering en-site tours, it also contains some good photos and information.
He also offers accommodation in the area, which I hope to try out when I visit the battlefields in Italt next April.
Worth checking out.

Really good stuff - I hadn't seen this before. I see he uses the interesting photo of the Panther turret overlooking the Futa Pass.

Nice site! Thanks.
But I have a doubt. About the Panther turrets there. There says that they has 88s Were not they Panther turrets with 75s?

Agreed, Friedrich - I think the guy has made a 'slip'. I'm sure the turrets were unmodified.

Yes, they all had the standard 75mm, just lifted straight off the tank.
There is a good article about them in issues 182/183 of the French '39-45' magazine.
I was recently asked if any are still in situ; I said not - does anyone know any different?

According to the site only four were left... And I suposse that four are too few to be still there...

Its again based in Italy, but is in English and has good photos and maps.

Very interesting stuff, Sommecourt - thanks !
As we've seen from the quiz lately, the Forum's a little bit shaky on the Italian campaign....
