Interesting Stuff Pzjgr...But a plea to all..

Have enjoyed a forced absence from work...spent all the last 2 weeks, ignoring books, pc stuff and work..

Can everyone please refrain from posting these flipping links for the next few weeks, as Im having trouble keeping pace.... And Im on the damn pc most of the day for the last 3 weeks.

Carl - I thought two sentences of the Stalingrad speech were:

I wollte nur an die Wolga kommen.
An einen bestimmten Stadt, an einen bestimmte Stelle.

Translation: I just wanted to reach the Wolga. At a certain city, at a certain place.

I think I have a little of this speech on cd.

Volkbert--you might be correct. I thought it was much longer than that though, maybe im getting it mixed with one of his Christmas speeches?

The speech was definitely longer than these two sentences. These are the only ones I know by heart.

Do you the speech about the have-nots? I have it on cd. Years ago I tried to learn it because it sounds so funny.It starts with: 'Nur bin ich die Vertreter der Habenichtse gewesen. It means: Always I have been the representative of the have-nots.

Here is an excerpt but have not been able to find the whole speech.
