Cool

Alright guys. I'm just looking for verified info on this. I know that there was a British operation that a few OSS operatives went into Italy to take out a series of bridges and were caught, their boat found by a fisherman and then the men found by the Nazi's. They were held and questioned as to why they were here. Then were shot in front a firing squad while the other half of the team watched and then the other part of the team. Now let me just know what you guys know, I'm interested in why; why were POW's shot down in this manner? It just doesn't make sense. Open for anyone.

You mean the Hitler Commando order if I got this right?

The order was a death sentence for any Commando participating in a raid who fell into the hands of German forces.

Or do you wonder why first one half and then the other? Maybe only the commander of the firing squad knows.Probably a sadistic person.
