Weren't all U.S Infantry divisions by landing at Omaha and Utah beach by Amphibious landings?

What about the U.S 1st, 3rd etc....?

I know they all did it by Amphibious landing. But didn't the divisions fought seperately. Ex. 1st Infantry fought in that place, and 2nd fought in another place. But I was wondering that was the U.S. 1st Army fighting seperately and the other armies.
