does anyone know when the u.s army captured their planned brittany ports?,and when the ports were first used for unloading supplies from the states?.cheers.

thanks Mac,it is a terrible shame that more lst,s were not available in the immediate post d-day build up of supplies etc.i know the planners thought there were enough shallow draft craft for nertune/overlord,but imo,there should have been more.cheers.
