Hey gang,

Thought I'd start a thread on SACO and maybe find out more about it. I know it was basically a Navy operation that involved some Marines (scouts and raiders mostly) training and fighting with Chinese troops and the Chinese underground.

I'm mainly looking to find out if there were every any Army personnel stationed with SACO - specifically signal corps. Is there a roster out there of personnel associated (aside from the AAD/NARA one for Naval Intelligence personnel?)

Were you able to talk about this with him? Do you have photos of him?

My father served with SACO during WWII. I believe he was stationed at Chunking. We have photos of some of the camp and the "white house".

hope you could post some of these photos up here for us to see... if it is possible...
