Wow, old Forum!
Scrolling through the members list earlier, I noticed that some members have been around since December 31st, 1969. This can't be true!

Re: Wow, old Forum!
Do I have to explain everything to you? it's much older than that, look up your Bible:
Quote:
Genesis 1
1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 - And God said, Let there be Texas, and there was Texas.
4 - And God saw Texas and that it was not good enough.
5 - And God said: I shall compensate this by what follows.
6 - And God said, Let there be http://www.ww2f.com, and there was http://www.ww2f.com
7 - And god saw http://www.ww2f.com and that was good
|
All the rest is history.

8. Then God said, let me look at this Texas thing again, I think I can do better.
9. So God said, let there be Alabama, and it was.

Shoot, that can't be done. The Confederacy was started here. Jefferson Davis was sworn in as 1st and only President of the CSA not 15 miles from where I am presently sitting. So there!

Go to El Paso and you can see the mountains there. We share the range with New Mexico.
http://www.visitusa.com/texas/images...-mountains.jpg
Go to the East and you will find lush forest.
Go to the Northeast and there are rolling hills
Prairie up North.
Hills in the Center
Desert out West
You name it, we got it.

Yeah, back in February we switched from another software to vBulletin. All members were imported with unknown last activity dates. The default was set to Dec 31st, 1969 which is actually the birth date of the modern internet, which is why it was used.
How in God's name did this become yet another thread about Texas?
