Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
So here is the deal.
I'm currently working on the header for our well known comrade website, ww2talk.com, and I'm on a serious graphics kick right now. During this process, I'm going to offer my services to any of you Rogues out there who want me to make avatars, signatures, smilies, flags etc, etc. It's a really simple deal, post a link to an image with what you want, and I'll make it and upload it to your profile for you. Preference will be given to WWIIF Veterans, Aces & Experten, but all are welcome to send in requests.
I already have one request in the qeue for the Za Rodinu, he asked me a long time ago for the Portugese flag as a smilie. Although Portugal was neutral, it's a good flag because she used the same flag both during WWII and today (unlike Canada or the USA), that kills two birds with one stone for me. I'll have Za's request done here in a minute or so.
So, ask away. I can't promise I'll do everyones request, but I'll do my best to get to you. And besides, this will also be a great way to build up graphics for my own website front64.com.
Peppy >>> wants you to ask, so that you might receive

Re: Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
How about a flag for the greatest state in the union, Alabama? And if you are feeling froggy, a Bonnie Blue Flag

Re: Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
Za, your Portugese smilie flag is done , as is your Bonnie Blue flag slipdigit. You'll have to wait for Alabama, since I don't feel like doing 50 state flags right now.
Anyone else have requests? I'm thinking more of WWII/military themed avatar work, since I can add these to my website when I get them done.
Peppy >>> will work for smilies

Re: Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
Yuppieeeeee! Thanks a LOT, Peppy!
The original request read:
Quote:
Considering the effort some of the Neutrals deployed to be sometimes a little less than Neutral, like allowing anti-uboat airbases smack in the middle of the Atlantic, and also the endurance in the face of jibes provided by miscellaneous Alabamians and Texans, wouldn't it be nice to add a Portagee flag to the ones already in the smilies list?
I know there aren't many Portagees in the forum, but the one there is carries some weight

Thanks, Peppy, I'll take what I can get. Give me some more thinking time and I'll come up with something else.

Since you're asking...
How about a British tank smiley? Matilda2, Crusader or somesuch.
(Not that I'm obsessed or anything...)
Cheers,
Adam.

Re: Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
Any chance of making a Mussolini smilie like we have of the OKF/Alfie? I think it could put to good use, alongside

How about three Von Poop?
First we have a Matilda II
then we have a Crusader II
and I threw in a Humber armored car for good measure
Let me know if these actually look like the vehicles in queston, am I'm not a tank specialist, but I do want to get it right. And just for you I created a new section in the smilies called "I like tanks" where all the AFVs will reside.

You didn't specify, but I'm assuming you wanted a smilie. Here you go bigfun.

I'm not sure what you mean. You already do have a smilie amongst the smilies ----> are you talking about the real Benito Mussolin? That might be tough to do.

I'm glad you like them Adam. You didn't however, answer my question, do they actually look like the vehicles? It's the mark II after each one that I'm worried about.
Also, I don't mind making smilies, but I was hoping most to make Avatars for you Rogues, but I'll make whatever you like.
Lastly, in your requests be sure to specify not only what you want the image to be but what you want me to make, (avatar, signature, smilie etc). It gets a little confusing otherwise.

Re: Peppy's Avatar/Graphics Expo
Strong work Peppy, I sent some well deserved rep your way for this thread. Once you get done with everyone before me, maybe you could make me an avatar? I'm think I'd like Karl-Otto Alberty, the German tiger commander from Kelly's Heroes.
