Wow, good memory, me too TA152! Crapgame ended up changing his username to Deep Web Diver, and he hasn't been here (under either name) in a couple years at least. He was probably the most well read and intelligent members we've ever had. We took a huge hit when he left.

I guess that's the way of it with internet forums, as with any other form of human societal activity. People come and go, drift away or return as their tastes and interests change.

I certainly don't think that's the case with Kai, but I must say that I miss people like DWD, Das Reich, CrazyD, BigIceMan,No. 9 and others.....

Do you ever wonder if any of the MIAs have been met with "difficult circumstances" and their next of kin don't know about the forum to let us know? With a group this large and range of ages, it would not be unlikely. I know my wife would not give this place a thought if I were ill or deceased.

I'm on Bikeforums.net and when some one dies we usually hear about it. Usually because they're in the news because some idiot driver ran them over. Suppose its a bit different on a WWII Forum.

Heh heh, I was getting a might worried that you might have been lost whilst on some skiing trip on some mountain frozen to a tree trunk. Or worse yet, lost in some Finnish Forest whilst looking for some Russian Militaria. ;-))
