The main burden of the Stalingrad airlift was born by the ju 52 and the he 111. But what other more unusual types were used.
From memory ju 86 and Fw200 were also used, any others ?

Re: Stalingrad airlift.
He-177 was used, with poor success.
According to Wikipedia:
The toll on the Transportgruppen was heavy. Some 266 Junkers Ju 52s were destroyed, one-third of the fleet's strength on the Eastern Front. The He 111 gruppen lost 165 aircraft in transport operations. Other losses included 42 Junkers Ju 86s, nine FW 200 "Condors", five He 177 bombers and a Ju 290.

Re: Stalingrad airlift.
I believe another type used was the Arado AR 232 Tausendfussler (milipede), and I remember reading somewhere that this was the last aircraft to fly out of the pocket.

Re: Stalingrad airlift.
William Green gives the JU 86D-1 and Ju 86G-1 bombload at one tonn, trasport capacity would be roughly the same. The usage at Stalingrad by K.Gr.z.b.V.21 and K.Gr.z.b.V.22 was a total failure as the the planes were too worn out for front line use, 42 losses out of 58 aircraft sent.

The German version of the Wikipedia page on the aircraft mentions that also. (For some reason, the English version doesn't.)

The Gigant was not made by Heinkel. It was the Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant. Maybe you are thinking of the He 111Z?
