Axis Aviation Of WWII

With the NAZI take over, huge expenditures began for military aircraft. This was first done in secret, but Göring and Hitler made the new Luftwaffe public in 1935. Luftwaffe planners had to make a major decesion at an early stage. The Luftwaffe planners decided to build a tactical force to support ground operations, the rest is history. This forum is dedicated to Pictures and Stories of the Axis Aviation during WWII.

It was sitting back in a corner and nobody was around yet, so I climbed inside thru the side hatch. Mounted just inside the door was a MP-40...hmmm to fight off stowaways?.. I thought. I probably spent the best 20 minutes by myself inside that bomber and grabbed the dorsal mounted MG-131 and took several pictures....
He has a document for a air gunner badge, my question is, would he be wearing one with or without the lightening bolt on the badge when he died on Christmas Day 1943. None of the photos show him wearing it but I have a document for it.
I've tried researching this guy, Henrich Wehrmann but I can't find anything on him.
