Normandy Landing Beaches
The Normandy Landings were the landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy, also known as Operation Neptune and Operation Overlord, during World War II. The landings commenced on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 (D-Day). The D-Day Landing beaches Forum is where you can post in relation to the beaches Utah, Omaha, Gold, Sword and Juno.

Gold Beach
Gold Beach was in the centre of the five designated targets for the Normandy landings. The primary directive was to take control of the small port of Arromanches landing on this beach was the task of the 50th Northumbrian Infantry Division.
