So it took so long for me to reply dude!
Ok-the main role of the NZ forces was to basically 'hump the boonies' on a 12 month rotation period.

Basically-NZ naval operations were confined to small offshore operations-i believe an NZ destroyer participated in shore bombardment with the Australian destroyer HMAS Vendetta in 1969/70 after relieving HMAS Sydney serving with the USN 7th Fleet in the South China Sea.

Operation LAVARACK was a huge deal for the Kiwis with 6RAR/NZ assaulting a huge VC force in Phuoc Tuy Province, with 9 Sqn RAAF supporting the Infantry with UH-1H 'Iroquois' gunships.

NZ positions in Nam were basically stationed as per Australian postings to keep these 'neighbours' together.

Anymore information needed, just let me know...again, forgive the lateness of my reply...
