I didn't mention any rank... Everybody involved in the plot with that name will suffer the same luck than certain field marshall with many medals...

On " weapons and tactics of Waffen-ss"
A young SS-sturmmann, Remi Schrijnen, of the Sturmbrigade " Langemarck " demonstrated the power of Pak 40 at a strategic position, grimly dubbed by its SS defenders as " orphanage hill". This position comprised part of the Tannenberg line defences behind the River Narva on the northern sector of eastern front. Here, on 2nd January, Schrijnen and his 7.5 cm Pak 40 turned back a large Soviet armoured force, destroying three Red Army tanks in the process. On 3rd March 1944 he was wounded for the seventh time, but refused hospitalization and remained with his unit. Three days later the convalescing Schrijnen, after witnessing his entire crew being killed, single-handedly manned his gun in disobedience of orders to retire and continued an apparently hopeless struggle against 30 Soviet tanks, many of which were the latest Josef Stalin-II heavy tank. Schrijnen destroyed 11 soviet tanks, including three JS-II vehicles, before his gun was destroyed and he was seriously injured.A German counter attack subsequently found him battered but alive, and he was deservedly awarded the Knight´s cross for his exceptional heroism.

That's bravery! I had read it already from Carl but hadn't understood it quite well. Now I do know that the words I adressed to him via-Carl were really worth it.

Huh? For that action--Remy was credited with knocking out 17 Russian T-34s and IS-1s, including 100 Russian Infantry. This took place in 3 days time--surrounded and wounded.
