Thanks guys.
An encore eh? I'll show a pic of myself (really Greg.S) wearing my Artillerie majors Doeskin tunic and Visored cap. When I can afford to--I'll send a few copies of pics to Kai or Volkbert--so they can post them here. Ive been itching to post three newer pics in particular--all three show German soldiers with Castles in the backgrounds.
I wonder who will be the second to reach 6K?
Stevin--hopefully the PLM but I would be satisfied with a selection of medals from my little collection and a ribbon bar as my personal awards. I just dont know what Otto and Peppy have to do to make them--but I imagine its alot of work so I cant pester them into making it for at least another 5,996 more postings.

Thank you Crapgame--im also keenly awaiting your 1st 1,000, TA-152s 1st 100, Stevins 1st 1,000 and Martins 2,000.
Just to name a few so far--not purposedly leaving the others out like Bish, Ryan, Ivan, Paul, Kai, Sommecourt and all.
I look for the day that we have nothing BUT Field Marshalls here.

Cheers Carl! Your Pour Le Merite looks good around your neck. Here's to 6,000 more posts, and thousands more beyond that.
The list of thousand "sortie" members is growing. If two years ago someone were to tell me we would have a half dozen 1,000+ members I would have said: "hopefully!" Now that we do, I'm "hoping" to be able to keep up with everyone.
Congratulations to Carl and thanks all for their continued memmbership and input. We make a fine team indeed!

Thank YOU all, and MOST of these postings would not be here if it werent for a great group of guys and gals posting here.
I cant wait til I see more and more with these decorations. I think you all deserve them too. Heh heh heh--I wish I had the knowledge and powers that be--to give you the awards that are more in your areas of interest.
Luckily for the Christmas Tree--luckily all my "awards" are in the Prinzen size and not the actual size--or I wouldnt have the room for any more of these.
Thank you for your support.

Speaking of medals being awarded, does anyone else get annoyed at the fact in books, I'll give you an example:-
" Lieutenant Grays WON the Military Cross"
It's not a game, you don't win medals-you earn them for valour and service. I know it's only a small thing...but
