Hi Col, some of these new postees, know not what they say as they don'r know the truth. I've posted many many times, the links to the two best sites on the net that are about John Wayne, and I don't know how many here have actually given either site a chance. Untill they do, and untill they decide to LEARN the truth about Duke, as far as im concerned; they are speaking with forked tongues.

The two BEST sites on the internet that are about John Wayne, and honorable about John Ford are: John Wayne (an excellent site owned by Wayne Enterprises and one of Duke's Sons-Ethan Wayne) and excellently moderated by Michael (Dakota Surfer) the second excellent site about Duke is: JWMB - The Original John Wayne Message Board! which is owned and operated by a Gent with the first name of Kevin, and moderated by many great folks i.e. Jim/Sue, Keith from England and several others.

Now if anyone wants to know the complete TRUTH about Duke and how he felt about many things-Women, politics etc, then you should take a few minutes of your time and go check into those sites. The people are very helpful and friendly-and if you decide to say something derogatory about Duke, Ford or any others, they will not hold it personally against you and will be more than willing to help you learn the truth.

I could now with things that I have learned (thanks to being a member of those sites for years DW.com and for several months JW.com) easily and truthfully, rip apart the false derogatory things said about Duke. If you don't like him-so what? no big deal. However, if you make a STUPID comment and falsity towards Duke and never even seen any of his movies-then you don't know a fragging thing what the heck your talking about and should keep your mouth closed on such a topic. This is akin to one who never votes in elections but, bitches about the wrong candidate being elected anyway.

Also, there is A~B~S~O~L~U~T~E~L~Y no reason to bash either John Ford or Duke. Also, many of the not so nifty comments and statements as fact, made by several posters (most of whom are no longer visiting or posting here) and they all are speaking about things they do not know jack crap about.

Col, this post aint aimed at you but to those (and without saying so) they know who they are.

By the way, Duke NEVER said that derogatory line-about what women should be doing. That's leftist garbage! >:-((

PS, if this lying garbage keeps going on here, I think I might enlist the aid of several from DukeWayne and a few from JohnWayne sites, to come here, register here and set the record straight. No, not a one of them will start any trouble or misbehave in any way, shape, or form. They all are adults who know how to act corectly.

Doing some quick thinking while waiting for this to post, I think I now fully understand why YOU hate Duke so much? it's because Duke hated Communism and all the bad things about it.
