You crafty Finn you--you sure did get me And just because you did get me, here is a small gift to you.
On April 23rd 1945, Oberst Reichhelm was General Wencks, Chief-of-Staff (Chef-des-Stabes).
Well, on this day, Fieldmarschall Keitel visited Wencks Headquarters and after the visit ended, Oberst Reichhelm said of Keitel: "Keitel was an outstanding Sergeant, but no Fieldmarschall."

Congrats Kai!
I'm certainly glad you are here too. Your posts are among the most interesting and comedic of all the WWII Forums.
I'll see you at 3,000! What will you shoot then?

Yes, well done indeed Kai ! Your pace has left me breathless....

Thanks for all the posts, I wish I could read all 2000 of them. You have really given me an education on the role Finland had in WWII, which is largely overlooked by the historians of the planet. If the east european counties of pre WWII had been warriors like the Finns then Hitler would have been shut down in 1940.

Thank you very much Gentlemen for your kind words...!!
As always the usual "award-winners" phrase:
"This could not have been possible without you guys..!"
Special thanx Carl for the Gift. That was great!
Friedrich: I guess they have enough Generals because they are making "just" Heroes...Well they´ll have to promote us one day, won´t they??
Martin: "I often imagine him, sitting in his log cabin in frozen Turku, reindeer parked outside..."! That was a great thought. You made it sound so comfortable..
TA 152: Thanx for your interest in WW2 Finland!
--------
All right! Full ahead for the new WW2 "secrets"!

The important part is not "2,000" exactly, but the fact that ALL of them are well researched and interesting. Thanks for all of the work!!!

Oh !! I just realised it should have been Kotka, not Turku.
But what the heck, they're both North of Watford, as we say in London...
