A part of painting of Friedrich Karl from the 1890´s.
Friedrich Karl, Landgrave of Hesse (-Cassel) (1868-1940). Recognized, with the entire house of Hesse-Cassel, as possessing rights of succesion to the Grand Duchy of Hesse and the Rhine by a family compact of 1902. Elected King of Finland, as King Väinö I, in October 1918 by the Finnish parliament, but declined the throne two months later after German defeat.

IF they ever offer me to be King of Finland--ill gladly take the job Heh heh heh--maybe I could even meet the Princess of Sweden? Now thats what im talking about who is a babe.
Oh and as my first act as King of Finland --I would close down All McDonalds Restaurants and replace them with Sonic Drive-ins.
King Carl of Finland. I like the sounds of it.

Don't worry Friedrich, in Swedish it would mean something like 'Lady wise' or 'Aunt wise'.
Best regards/ Daniel
