After a few months you'll reach around 600 posts. I hope to reach the number of 1000 posts around the middle of June.

I've decided to make a change too. It's a US Marine from the game Civilizations III. I kind of like the little guy, Peppy just added him to my Avatar Pool.

How come so few people use their own faces? I suppose the WW2 context helps. My problem is that because of my age whenever people want to take pics of me at re-enactments I am supposed to look scared etc, so most of the decent pics of me in uniform I look like I am worried about what a huge canadian soldier is intending on doing with his spade

I wish more people would send in their Re-enactment avatars and I know Peppy loved to make the re-enactment ones. I think it adds a nice personal touch to the Forums. I stated in a looong-ago earlier post that I would have myself as an avatar, and I eventually will, but I want to get in "uniform" before I do.

Oh my I must dive for cover LOL. I used to play death from above on shockwave that was a WWI air war game. It was really cool.
I like the new avatar Peppy that is cool. And I do have my own pic with my brother's dog so I could submit it as a avatar.

No problem Erwin. I think it came out rather well if I do say so myself.

I wasn't reffering to the subject matter of the post, I was referring to the Avatar. I think the policy is that the avatar has to have some connection to WWII. As far as I know, Mr. Johnson doesn't seem to.

He might have been a good soldier.

Then I will have to scan the picture of myself dressed as Julius Cæsar in the homonimous opera... That's war reinactment... Or maybe I will have to buy a German WWII field marshal uniform so I can go to the US and participate in some reinactments.
