Greetings all -
I have a very goodly amount of Luftwaffe and a smaller amount of panzer material that I would like to share, but, according to my son, the computer wiz ( jokingly I say ), he states that we need some more help to run our own url's to do so.
If that is the case then, perhaps I can email Volkbert directly and have him post some for me.
Is there ever a chance that we might be able to post pics directly from our computers on to this forum with out going the "url" route.
My apologies in advance if my terminology is in error, as I am no student of computers. I know just enough on how to get them going, and when I run afoul of them, my first initial response is, "where's the boy"?

I know the feeling. When my father or mother have a problem with the computer, they always turn to me for help.

Ahhh but Erwin, we love having these old codgers about don't we, they have their uses . I remember how embaressed my Dad was when my mate came over to fix his PC, I mean being out done by an 11 year old kid, depressing (this was a while ago).

Yeah... we knew that. But who does the typing? Aren't your hands too affected with age-arthritis to type?

Entschuldigen mich bitter fur diesen verkehr.
Mit freundlichen gruBen,
Bill
Greetings -
I was just attempting to practice on my rusty German with the General. Hopefully I did not butcher it up too badly. I informed the general of my family having originated in Germany, and then moving to the United States after the war.
Respectfully to all,
Bill

Ah, Friedrich, young chap - reminds me of the story about US troops about to attack the Siegfried Line being told that the bunkers were manned by 'sick old men'.
After coming under fierce MG42 fire, one GI commented bitterly that ' They may be sick old men but they sure as hell can still pull triggers and shoot bullets !'

Vielen Dank, Smith!
Wiedersehen!

Martin, Martin... pulling a trigger is no big deal... But what did they do when they had to run away?
