Carl we have had our disagreements over current events on here, not in the main thrust of who the goodies and baddies are though I must add, on that we can agree and are of the same mind, just disagree on the methods needed to combat the threats.
Unfortunarely no there will not be peace over there or over here or over anywhere now.
This will go on as it has gone on, defeating terrorism is not as easy as defeating a nation in warfare.
Nothings changed, we ie me and you are no more safe in fact far less safe if we have to travel, than ever we were, Kenya is a case in point as I write, pure panic and no Brits travelling on advice and no British flights for forseeable future.
Iraqs sadman has gone but where no one knows. OBL still at large and even if dead or caught the movements that have now associated themselves with his fatwa are not going to go away. We are starting to think better and will always have some success against them, Iraq has changed nothing and never would. Apart from created millions of Islamics in the south now demanding a Islamic nation in the south....Just what we didnt want.
The only thing I have seen is that I cannot freely travel as I could a few years ago.
We have to sort this, and we have to be clever about it, its no use saying will THEY ever have peace...Its us theyre killing.
And to top it all, OBL wanted us out of Saudi, nearly completed that part, how many US forces there now, how many by end of this year? Got what he wanted there then. The training camps in Afghanistan have gone and thats a good thing, they cannot train and prepare in the open anymore, that had to be done that was a necessity, driving them undergound had to happen but now we got to get clever, Abrahams and Challengers aint going to cut it.
