This is somewhat rare:
Did you know that this year--December 7th will fall on Sunday? which is Pearl Harbor Day.
I will be attending local vets get togethers and hopefully will be able to get pics.
Where will you be and what will you be doing on that day? Any plans made?

I may watch a few DVDs like "Pearl Harbour", "Tora! Tora! Tora!" and "From here to eternity"... And I hope there would be no family meetings that day nor that I have to go with my bf playing paintball...
Or I may even built a 1/72 scale Japanese zero!

I will think on this day about the attack on Pearl Harbor, that's for sure. But I won't be in a special place that has to do with the attack.

I will be spending time with the Vets at Sherrill Park here in CC land. I was there last year and it was nice to see vets who had attended the ceremonies there for the first time. One vet even wore only his purple hearts, all six of them.

I'll be celebrating. For my family, December 7 is a good day. My mom was born on December 7. Not in 1941 though!

Thanks. And get this, on my brothers birthday 1993, Dec 14th, he passed away from Cancer and on the same day same year, my Cousin Rodney, was killed in a car wreck when he wrapped his Camaro around a tree. This happened in Oklahoma. Needless to say, we had no Christmas that year either.
