Yep! As a major Beatles fanatic, I was especially thrilled by what I got:
a limited edition commemorative plaque for A Hard Days' Night, with the CD, covers and a numbered certificate all in a beautiful photo frame.
In Their Own Write, the story behind every Beatles number, going through all their albums from Please Please Me to the Anthologies of a few years back.
Going to have to expand the shelf again, soon....

Quite a few nice things this year, including a great book on Scottish whiskey, or rather combined whiskey and travel guide, with heavy focus on nice pictures taken from all over the country.
Bunch of nice clothes as well, plus my parents as usually went overboard when buying a small but nice home-cinema system (doesn't matter if you are 30 when an only child, it seems, still spoiled!).
I will get myself the Return of the King Extended version DVD, as well as a couple of nice WWII books...

Not much this year, lot of clothes - no toys - but I got a few selections off my Amazon.com wishlist. Oh, but my mum got me a silver plated mouse, with my initials - wow!

Hiya Gordon. I'm suprised I still remember my password for this place.
Anyway, got a few more stuff for Xmas. "Gates of the Alamo" is just one of em. If anyone is even the slightest bit interested in the Texas Revolution then I would recommend this book.
