Default French school named after U.S. fighter pilot.

On January 18th , the Primary School at Rochy Condé, near Beauvais France, was named after a fighter pilot whose Thunderbolt crashed near the village, killing the airman.

Lt William R. Hayden 356FG, 361FS was escorting Bombers on a mission to Ludwigshafen. Hayden collided with another P-47 from 360 SQ flown by Everett Brock. He did not survive either and the second aircraft fell at Bailleul. This happened on dec 30 1943.
