Hi Col. I was trying to add a gif file to my signature and everything I tried; did not work. I want to add one of those US Civil War Cavalry or Standardbearer animated gifs. They look so darn cool.

Carl, what you have to do is find the location of the gif then copy it.
Example: http://www.ww2f.com/gfx/USCivilWar.pc0/greybearer1.gif
Then you click on the button with the mountains and the yellow background. Then just paste in your url and you are go to go.

Hi TA, when it comes to computers--i'm illiterate. I was just trying that img thing with the help of the librarian and the goddanged one with the wrong brackets got saved. I tried to go in there and change the brackets to the ones Otto sent me but it would not change.

Not bad for a test, I've seen worse. Now I'm a bit worse for wear, it's midnight, and I'm pissed off as my wifecaught me napping and snoring on the living room's sofa and filmed me. Now, is that a proper thing to do, I ask you? Quite frankly, I'm so annoyed I'm going to finish this post and go to bed and snore the whole night away! And boo to that silly rebel flag of yours!
