Talking For those not set on who to vote for in 2008.

If you are not exactly sure who you want to vote for for President in the 2008 elections--please check this out.

You might just consider voting for these two.

You can get a free bumper-sticker advertising the candidates for President and Vice President in '08. All you have to do is to sent in a SASE to:

Daniel Boone for Prez.
c/o Liberty Entertainment
1990 Westwood Blvd, Penthouse 3.
Los Angeles, California 90025.

I ordered mine last week.

What it shows is a photo of Daniel Boone for President and his Cherokee Indian pal: Mingo, for Vice President.

If you have a sense of humor--you will send for one as well--and besides--they are freeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Ha ha, Kai, I can actually imagine that Daniel Boone would fit perfectly into Finnish Society. :-0) As well, Mingo might make them do a double-take. ;-))

CGEvonM, I would vote for Newt too--if I thought he would become one in the leading pack. Definately so if Fred Thompson chose him as his running mate.

I like Ol' Newt well enough, but I don't think he stands a snowball's chance the way the media absolutely loathes him. If he farts, they'll say he did it to harm one group or another.

My money's on Fred Thompson, if we can ever get him to announce. He looks and sounds presidential, plus I like his ideas.

My first presidential vote was for Ronaldus Magnus way back when. If you want to know how a President should sound, listen to him give a speach. The "Mr Gorbechev, Tear Down This Wall" and the "Pointe du Hoc" speaches were gold. I get so irritated watching Dubya fumble through his speaches.

I am not a Republican, they are far too liberal for me. However, I understand the political realities in this country and know that their policies are far less detrimental to this country than the those of the Democrat party.

You sound like a dyed in the wool George Wallace man ! He did pretty good back in 1968. I can't recall if he got more votes as a third party or if Perot did better.

Oh heavens no, not George Wallace! I never had ANY use for him, nor did most of my family. He was Alabama's version of Bill Clinton. He had no steady beliefs of his own, prefering to stick his finger in the air to see which way the political winds were blowing before making up his mind as to what to do.
Here's two quotes about him and by him to give an you idea about him:
"Judge George Wallace was the most liberal judge that I had ever practiced law in front of. He was the first judge in Alabama to call me 'Mister' in a courtroom." -J.L. Chestnut, Black Attorney
Later, when a supporter asked why he started using racist messages, Wallace replied, "You know, I tried to talk about good roads and good schools and all these things that have been part of my career, and nobody listened. And then I began talking about niggers,[sic] and they stomped the floor." http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/wallace...re/quotes.html

Read the rest of the quotes from this site to get an idea of what I am talking about. He was supportive of civil rights until he lost an election in 1958. See the quote attributed to him that year.

I did like his State's Rights position, but not for the reasons he supposedly supported the idea.

Fortunately, I can't vote in the US, so the Republican Party would lose my vote.

I watched both the Democrats' and Republicans' debates. There are people in both parties who either scare me or make me laugh... I'd rather pick a good laugh at pathetic (but centrist) John McCaine. And definately no Hillary, no matter how much I like her.

I think I found my candidate: Duncan Hunter. Tough on terror. Tough on illegal immigration. Tough on China, North Korea, and Iran. Vietnam vet in the 173rd Airborne and 75th Ranger Regiment. Against abortion. Against gay marriage.

Sounds good but, he'd never make it for one reason. He isn't like slick willy clinton or al "I want-a-recount-on-those-dimpled-and-hanging-chads" gore in that he is not in the practice of sucking everyone's d*** to get a vote.

See that's the thing. No one's ever heard of him. It's always McCain, Rudy, Romney, and Thompson who isn't even in the race yet second in the polls.

McCain and Rudy - liberals in an elephant suit.
Romney - not much better.
Thompson - I like him but he needs to either s**t or get off of the pot.

I like McCain but he really ticks me off with this immigration. If it wasn't for that, he'd get my vote. But when it comes down to it, who ever wins the GOP ticket has my vote--well, unless it's Ron Paul. I'd take any Republican over the Democratic candidate. I can't stand any of them. If any one of them is elected President, we are screwed.

Jeff, exactamundo with this one!

Col, all McCain is is a liberal disguised as a conservative. That boy is out in my book. I like Rudy G but he is out because of his silliness on two things--the most important of the two is his stance on the 2nd amendment-the other is pretty easy to figure out witout having to type it out. ;-) My jury is still "out" about Romney--however, I really do not trust him either. So far--of those who have the slightest chance in making the final cut--only Fred Thompson fits that bill.

Maybe Duncan Hunter should "get-his-legs-wet" and try running as Vice-Prez? Funny as you mentioned his name--I only heard him mentioned in a news report just YESTERDAY.
