Thankfully so far they appear to have been some of the crappest terrorists the world has to offer.
Two captured and 2 fully intact cars with unexploded devices must be an enormous boon to the intelligence bods.
Fingers crossed they continue to be so useless.
Bizarre that the swine of the IRA with their warnings and Semtex are looking mildly civilised and professional by comparative hindsight.
I hope that "London can take it." (and Glasgow of course) continues to be the vibe.

I just read up on the guy that got burned, sucks to be him.
It seems to me that he was deemed "not fit to drive" and relegated to a passenger role in a frickin' car bomb. Talk about low self esteem, I mean the extra man could have stolen a vehicle and at least driven it into another car or even a single person. Maybe even walked up to an old lady and kicked her in the shins, instead he sat in the passenger seat and got horibbly burned, and they failed to do any real damage. Sounds like a wholesale loser to me.

It reminds me of the guy who flew a light plane into the White House while Clinton was president about 15 years ago. It did no damage to anything except the plane and it killed him. I don't even recall what he was protesting, if anything.
If you want to terriorize Glasgow, turn Gordon loose in the stretch limo again.

It's probably the only time I'll ever say this but "well done, traffic wardens". How incompetant a terrorist do you have to be to have your car towed away (!) - it reminds me of something out of Austin Powers.
But then again, we can laugh about it because nobody got hurt, and I hope it remains so.

It was funny, in a way; people ran to help these guys after the jeep crashed, then started kicking the sh** out of 'em when they realised what had actually happened! The cops had to rescue the guys! That'll teach them to try it in Glasgow.
Don't understand where the airport fire crews were; they could have had the fire smothered in minutes before Strathclyde Fire Service arrived...and started spraying water on a petrol fire.

Yes - I smiled at the interview with the Scots guy on TV last night who ran to 'help' but from what he was saying, ended up giving him a good 'seeing to'.... Glasgow ; too scary for terrorists !
Good point about the firecrews - I'll bet there are no plans in place for 'airside' appliances to access the front of the terminal......

I think it's a little bit to early to comment on this one, one thing is for sure it was a botch.
Did anyone here catch the comments by some moron last week about the London car bomb who said this, "This bomb was made to kill people". Really, wow what a revelation.

Latest news is that Police have defused a car bomb outside the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley- just down the road from the airport- where one of the suspects was taken, and are also searching houses in the nearby village of Houston.
There was an armed Police guard on the mosque in Glasgow's Gorbals this morning.
