We´ve been hearing since noon in the news of a situation in a school in southern Finland where a disturbed young man , a pupil himself, probably 18-year old, started shooting people with a hand gun during a lesson and so far killed seven people. One person is in critical situation in hospital with a head wound.

It also seems the pupil had put a warning in youtube with the name "Jokela High School Massacre".

it´s truly horrible to see this kind of bad thing happen....

I am very sorry to hear this Kai. Finland will be in shock the coming days. Finland is one of the last places you'd think something like this would happen, but noone is immune to insanity or whatever it is that drove this person.

Just seen a report on the BBC news. A truly dreadful thing - the fact that it has happened in Finland really makes one aware that such sick people exist throughout the World.

Hi Kai, they will be in my prayers as well. My best wishes go out to their families. It's sad that nobody seemed to pay any attention to this person who was probably trying to reach out. That same sad thing happened at the University killing by that warped-minded; cho.

The boy definitely was going crazy. He had started to think he was some kinda "übermensch" and had the right to decide who could live and who could not. It also seems he had some kinda plan who to shoot and in which part of the body, and he followed his plan to every detail. In the farewell notes he says that this will be his dream come true....

If it was not enough shocking then there is a world full on nutcases who keep his dream alive by sending his messages to the youtube and also several net sites, and also "worshipping" his deed there....

I hope the police will catch at least some of those B*^?=?=rds who possibly even innovated the 18-year-old to do the killings...

By Thursday a "Jokela Highschool Shooting Sympathizers" account had appeared in the popular social networking web service Facebook. Members of the group describe the actions of the Jokela school shooter as an "honest and sensible reaction to the horrors of modern society".

geezo where are the parents ? maybe we don't want to know. sounds like evil submission and kids are falling for the deceiver right and left. I would love to counsel with them

very very sad, and it is only going to get worse with kids feeling they have been left out as garbage from dis-functional parents that have their own personal problems they have not admitted to and know and will not get help for

civilian counseling or military "wall to wall" counseling?

My Condolences to all the victims of these sociopath "cowards", who prey on the defenseless and trusting.
Not brave enough to go toe to toe with someone/anyone on an equal footing.
Try that trash in a police station, or on a military base.
