This is why I have the bumper-sticker on my car window that has a photo of Fess Parker as Daniel Boone and Ed Ames as Mingo, on a circular sticker I got from Liberation Entertainment Inc. who restored that fine TV series. Also, this window-sticker says: Boone & Mingo in '08. I wish I had a photo of it to post here.

I could not agree more with what you said, Carl! Thanks for the post.
You did, however, make one minor incorrect citation. Nathan Hale said "I regret that I have but one life, to give to my Country," not Patrick Henry. Sorry if this is splitting hairs.

On "watchdog" cameras: I think they should be used, but to an extent. What's happened here is that the local and state politicians go ahead and do whatever they want to do not ever asking for our (We The People) permission to do so. Once they get their way, they take more and more from us---because we let them get away with it. Nobody seems to be willing to stand up and fight anymore-instead, im afraid that the peoples living in the USA, arr all going to become nothing more but a nation of Lemmings.
On Joe Lieberman, I actually like this guy but, he still does not represent those of us in the camp im in-as much as we would like to see him do. He's no Republican and not really a democrat-where does that leave him?-an Independant. I don't know enough about those guys but, what little I do, theese guys seem to be more in "the middle of the road" on issues that are important to me. I guess in short: I like him but not ready to trust him yet.

Diddy, thank you for the correction on what Nathan Hale said. I was doing all this from memory and, mine isn't too good these days. But I do greatly appreciate the correction ;-))
