This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years.

And that's what will probably end up happening Skipper, some innocent child out for some fun in the park will end up being seriously wounded. Breaks my heart.

I wonder just what gets into the feeble minds of people who do these stupid things?

Just a few days ago, a 20-something yr old Japanese male-killed several people by crashings its car into some and then taking a knife and stabbing several. They authorities said that it said that it wished it was dead. Ok now, my question is, if it had wanted itself to be dead, why in the heck does it have to take its frustrations out on innocent people-instead of just killing itself? Or did it forget that committing Harikari (SP?) is something that had been done by countless Japanese folks-through the ages.
