I'm posting this because over the past year or so, some jerk-weed has been going around the more wealthier neighborhoods here in Corpus Christi, and are mutilating Cats. Since last year, about a dozen or so Cats have been taken from someones home, and their heads cut off and insides ripped out. After this sick thing has happened, that same $%^&** then goes back and dumps the mutilated cats carcass, onto the cat owners front lawn. >:-((

OK, as if that mentioned above aint sick enough, the individual(s?) who are responsible for doing these atrocities, have taken their sick perversions to an even newer high. In the past two days, there have been four more Cats found mutilated. Only this time, whoever did this, somehow cut their bodies in half-meaning-top and bottom. The entire top part of the cat-head-neck and top part of the cats back etc-is missing and the bottom part of the cat including it's tail-winds up on the onwers front lawn.

This basshole is one scumbag that I would have no compunctions in shooting, right between it's eyes and I wonder if this is part of some satanic ritual?. >:-((

Another thing that is troubling about this, is that the Police are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this. In my way of thinking, that if someone(s) has that much hatred, and does these things to Cats, then I wonder how long before this escalates into mutilating a human being? Lots of young children are out playing and what if this wastoid decides to take a child?

If I were Police Chief here, i'd detail at least a few Officers and a Detective into looking into this matter.

I can imagine this is some kind of satanic ritual. There are animal protecting laws against these cruelties, so they could end up a few weeks in jail and have a large fine. But most of all they'd probably be banned for ever by their neigbours: so yes, it would help to send a few detectives enquire about this.

I just have to really shake my head about all of this. The Police are doing absolutely nothing about this-and as far as I know, they have not even stepped up their patrols in those neighborhoods. Instead, many of them have their traffic "checkpoints" on the turnarounds that are under the overpasses-handing out tickets for no seatbelts. I'm 100% of a supporter for Law Enforcement but, this is absolutly frustrating to see.

I am almost wishing that the ex-Police Chief was back in office. However, that will never happen as he passed away a few weeks ago. :-(

There must be people who may have witnessed something or reported things. What about the owners? Also I suppose these are school kids , so they must be talking and boasting about this, possibly even put pictures about it on the net. Somebody has got to know.

Hi Skipper, so far nobody had come fourth with any info. As far as I know, all these cat killings happen in the early morning hours. They interviewed a few people in the neighborhood, but they all said they had not seen anything. If there ever was a place that has cameras set up-I would think this area should have them.

I've got three Cats myself that I keep indoors most of the time. When they are outside-they always hang around me anyway and never stray more than 60 or so feet from where im at watching them from. I don't think it would happen where im at simply because there is a lot of foot traffic on the sidewalk in front of my building and some of my neighbors are always up late night.

Early hours: possibly just after bar closing time and the end of the party. I think they would take the cats away from the houses. They wouldn't want people to see or hear them. However they would probably drive around and catch them in the neigbourhoods , so that should be their weak spot: Number plates. bartenders may have noticed their weird behavior too. I say "they" because it's gotta be some sort of stupid contest for them and I don't think a single individual could get a kick out of it. Well enough of my profiling.

Had something similar here; there's been the annual spate of attacks on horses all over Britain, but this year they were right on my doorstep. Horses have been attacked in fields, usually it stops with blood-taking but this time horses genitals have been slashed and a few have had to be put down. None of ours were touched, but many just up the road were. Got to the stage we owners were staking out the fields at night with two-way radios.
This stuff is usually blamed on 'Pagans' because of the blood-taking, and also because it always stops after the Summer Solstice. The slashings are an horrific new feature though.

Hi Mike, you took the next words right out of my mouth. I remember seeing those photo's of severed Dogs heads-that jeffrey dahmer had played around with and then mounted to fence-posts. Im glad that dahmer was killed in prison by another inmate. This jerk got what it deserved-a what I imagine as a very painful death-which was caused by a broken end of a wooden broom-or mopstick, and the jagged edge was shoved several times, up where the sun don't often shine.

Hi Gordon, me too. Also, sorry to hear that there is trash in the U.K. that is doing those atrocities to Horses. Horses, Dogs and Cats are my favorites and I have owned several of each. Not too long ago-maybe about 9 or so months ago, ther was a story in the local news, that had happened in my home town of Kingsville.

Kingsville is a small City and it's population always flutters between 23,000 to about 33,000-depending on how many Govt jobs are available. Anyway, some jerk(s) took someones Horse from the very Stables that we once kept ours in, and cut off it's ears. The horse was not injured beyond that and only was in pain.

Well, the morning that was discovered, the owner of the stables found the horse and called out a vetrinarian to clean up the horses wounds. Apparently the jerk who cut off the horses ears, must have taken them with it, and either kept them or thrown them away soemwhere out in the brushland.

End result, to date, nobody was ever cought. Also, this happened before the Cat mutilizations here in Corpus Christi and I often wonder if the same creep(s) are the ones responsible for it?

One thing im glad for, is that all my Cats live indoors-and will continue to do so when I move to my next house.

Thanks Gents. Yep, I can't see how someone can have that much anger in them to do these things. When I was a Correctional Officer for the State of TExas, most of the inmates I supervised over the years-nost of them were in for terrible crimes but, I think this crime would shock even the more "hardened" of them.

Flat out, just plain disgusting. One has to live by some-sort of a set of rules-including obeying the law. Apparently the scum doing this to those Cats; have no scruples on how low of a life form they really are. I don't care what color that this/these criminal(s) may be but, because of what's happening, im tending to think it's someone who is Caucasion-not Black nor Hispanic. I also think that whomever is doing this, apparently has parents with lots of money and that this/these punk(s) are doing this as some sort of a sick game-such as doing this only because they know that they can get away with it.

Just a "gut feeling" but, I do believe this/these sicko(s) are white males and probably in their late teens to mid twenties.

Now what I have seen as to who is running those illegal "Cock-fighting" rings-are always Hispanic in heritage. The ones I have heard about being busted within the past few years are always ran by hispanic males who are from Countries other than Mexico-such as from Columbia, Guatamala, etc-where cock-fighting contests are also held. I understand also that some Cubans are also pretty big into these sick contests. But from what I have seen and heard about over the past few years-it almost always is illegals from Columbia who are doing this.
