Canada has already converted Australia's F-18s to Canadian conditions.... Canada bought Australia's old F-18s... Just jokes folks...luv Canada.
nice , Luke, but we are thinking of investing in sea darts. maybe a jet with snow skiis would work...eagle pic should have been a Canadian goose, rather than snow goose, but I get it. cheers man
In the NT we have Magpie geese...where I live in Palmerston we have the Magpie goose as its symbol animal...just a coincidence I follow all sporting teams who are the magpies, so of course I support the Palmerston Magpies AFL team!
More like "Hey Australia! Can you protect our skies please?" I think there s a good reason their national anthem is "God defend New Zealand"...I sh.t you not.
Thought you might like that. Imagine a squadron of twelve of these led by four pilots. Pilots team up into pairs and the drones become autonomous?
A force multiplier if ever there was! Would fit into Australia's defence plan for sure...Hopefully this can be designed to carry anti shipping weapons. It doesn't look VTOL or STOVL though? Probably not a huge problem for Australia but im sure the US might have problems with that?
Oh by the way,It is never Canadian Geese. It is Canada geese. Around her often referred to as rats with wings.
Naw, the Air Force don't need no stinking VTOL. Ever see Fat Albert do a, uh-hum, abbreviated takeoff/launch?
Yeah Fat Albert is a Marine Reserve C-130. Seems all the Hercules the Navy and Marines fly are Reserve Units. Too bad they ran out of the inventory of JATO canisters. I saw Fat Albert do one of those short launches years ago at an airshow in Peoria. Impressive. Not to get in between inter-service rivalry but I was taking to a Marine pilot a couple years ago at a 4th of July party (he flew F- 8 Crusaders in Vietnam and retired from TWA), and we were talking about the Thunderbird's and Blue Angels. He said the Blue Angels were Navy and the Navy let you know the Blue Angels were Navy, but they let the Marines fly with them. He also rolled his eyes and took another sip of his Gin & Tonic.
