    Hello,

    I have a picture of a fighter @ my work. Most probably (at least to me) it's a IIWW fighter with possible modifications like the spinner. Since my knowledge is apparently not that good, please help me.

    Best regards,

    that is my concern,
    that is why I wrote that it looks like it would have modifications, especially due to wings.
    the lines there are, hmmm, not-very-military.

    Military planes with wing-tip nacelles are rather rare.

    I'm thinking of the Constellation. I know that airliner had tip tanks.

    The aircraft appears to have a radial engine, so the air scoop under the nose seems odd. Perhaps some sort of experimental craft, maybe with an added supercharger?

    I think that picture has been cropped somewhere along way. OP, can we have the source?

    Unfortunately I don't hace access to a better picture right now. I'll try to get one in few hrs.

    I was looking at it as a single engine plane.

    Guys, you are great!
    @ColHessler and followup from @Takao
    I thought that the fuselage is not visible due to high contrast of the picture, like overburned. I'd say - that's the spirit, but it's constellation ;)

    Thank you again!

    Does it have any relation to your workplace, or just an interesting image on the wall?
