Saw that on the news last night. Good find. Evidently the team that located it is actively searching for other subs. So far they've found five. Their goal is to locate as many as they can.
A dozen ships in ten missions? That's a busy sub...going down in a pitch black sub waiting for the sides to cave in must be one of the top five worst ways to go, plus knowing you're remains may never be found, not given the religious rights before...they don't pay submariners enough in my opinion. Is it me or has there been an increase in the amount of ships/subs found? Feels/seems like either new technology is having a significant effect and /or there are more people looking?
The rise in tech that has created all those billionaires has had at least one good side effect; enough have so much money they can say " Damn the Cost, full speed ahead"!
