Sadly, I must report that I passed last night. I passed quietly, with my chin up and a defiant glint in my eye. As quiet as it was, the dog smelt it and moved to the other side of the living room. I blame the wife for making black-eyed peas and ham hocks for dinner.

Boss Lady went looking for 15 Bean Soup mix. Came home with an attitude. The phone conversation was largely grumpy.

I do like me some 15-bean soup, but in hard times I'll settle for 7 beans and a few lentils.

Amazon was offering FOUR bags for $49.00. Gouge much?

In other news Boss Lady is getting a 20% bonus for coming to work for the next 30 days. She works for a mail delivery pharmacy. (Or, as I like to say "She sells drugs across the street from a local school.")

Your soup has only 15 beans in it. I'd still be hungry. How do you divide them up? You get 7 and Boss Lady gets 8? Or do you each get 7 and save one to split for a snack at bedtime?

I planted them in the backyard. If you watch the news keep an eye out for fifteen really tall plants.

I never do much anyway. Maybe read, walk the dog, watch tv or build a model. Sometimes go to the mall or a movie. Most I miss now would be watching my grandson play baseball. That’s the way it goes. I am not doing handstands over this but I am happy too.

I have a Ferdinand and Me262 with a 50 mm gun. I start making them 1:32 not bad. I get enough ( hope not a bad thing) beer and lock the door except for the loo. Time to get them done or leave it to Corona.

"So, sir, do you want to go home where all your toys and cats are, or do you want to stay in the hospital with a cloud of virus hanging over it?"

    "Let me think..."

I'm still here I think. But I'm pretty sure I'm now living in The Twilight Zone.
