Something Amusing - Me at 18!

Had a couple of Impalas myself when I was a road warrior and needed the huge trunk. Loved the ride on the highways and county two lanes.

Mom later on had a '75 Chevy Monza with a four speed..boy it was quick even through that smog crap...Buick Apollos, Pontiac Firebirds, and Ford Torinos..blast from the past with ugly bumpers and unleaded gas.

 

My mom didn't get her license to drive until in her 50's. She drove very little as she would only make right hand turns and that limited the destinations available.

 

There was nothing amusing about me when I was 18--except, of course, my hair and clothes. The hair's nearly all gone now. As for the clothes, they went into storage and stayed there for many years. When I finally went back there to pick them up with a buddy of mine in the late 90s, we just about died laughing when we pulled the stuff out of the boxes. Plaids, cords, flares...Oh my God, how did we live with ourselves dressing like that?

 

I pulled out my Air Force Class A uniform awhile back and attempted to put it on to impress the wife..let's just say it didn't go well..a 31R waist???..had to be somebody else or I need to go on a diet.
